San Crist\u00f3bal de la Habana cigars were introduced in 1999 on the threshold of the new Millennium as a tribute to the city\u2019s long history.<\/span><\/p>\n

At first the range comprised just four vitolas, each named after one of the fortresses built from the 16th to the 18th Centuries that defended Havana when it was the hub of Spain\u2019s American empire. These are: El Morro, La Fuerza, La Punta and El Principe.<\/span><\/p>\n

Then, in 2004, three new sizes were added, which are unique to San Crist\u00f3bal. These are named after well-known streets in Havana\u2019s Old Town: Muralla, Mercaderes and Oficios.<\/span><\/p>\n

All San Crist\u00f3bal \u2018s vitolas are Tripa Larga, Totalmente a Mano \u2013 long filler, totally handmade \u2013 to a light to medium flavored blend of filler and binder leaves from the Vuelta Abajo tobacco zone.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
